If I was looking for something to do in Placer County the next 7 days

First up: The Placer County Fair
📍 @the Grounds – June 26–29
If you know me, you know I love anything that brings people together — and the fair never disappoints. We’re talking:
-
Carnival rides, live music, and rodeo energy
-
Funnel cakes, BBQ, and all the “just one more bite” snacks
-
Demolition derby and motorsports (yes, it’s wild — and yes, it’s worth it)
Pro tip: Visit the barns. I grew up doing 4-H, and these kids work incredibly hard year-round raising and showing their animals. It’s a beautiful reminder of dedication, responsibility, and the roots of this community. Plus, the animals are adorable — your kids will love it
4th of July in Roseville — Parade, Community & Fireworks
This is my favorite kind of morning:
🎉 Coffee in hand, lawn chairs out, and the parade rolling right in front of our office on Vernon Street.
-
Parade starts at 9:00 AM — come early to snag a good spot.
-
Over 50 floats, local groups, and hometown pride marching by.
-
After the parade, head over to Royer Park for games, music, and food trucks from 10–1.
🎽 Bonus: There’s a 5K at 7:15 AM if you’re looking to start the day with a little movement.

🎉 Join Us at Roots HQ for Brunch & Parade Viewing!
📍Roots Real Estate Group
414 Vernon Street, Suite 110, Roseville, CA 95678
We’ll be outside the office with:
-
Brunch bites & sweet treats
-
Cold water & refreshments
-
Shady spots to watch the parade roll by
-
Friendly faces & a whole lot of local pride
Bring your family, your friends, or just your festive self. No RSVP needed — just come by and say hi!
🎆 Fireworks to Finish the Day
📍 @the Grounds – Gates open at 4:00 PM
Wrap up the 4th with live music, food trucks, and fireworks lighting up the sky around 9:15 PM.
💡 Quick reminder: No outside food/coolers, sealed water is fine, parking is $15 — so plan ahead.
Final Thoughts
I love this city and the way it shows up for each other — whether it’s cheering on a float, dancing at a fair, or sitting under the stars waiting for fireworks. There’s something special about being part of a community that’s both grounded and growing.
So come out, celebrate with your neighbors, and let’s soak in every moment.
See you out front on the 4th!
